Passion, hard work and love for our job, this is Stamas Racing's core.

This factory, based in Leinì (Turin), is specialised in the development and manufacturing of racing and entertainment mini bikes. For 10 years the two Dalla Costa brothers have produced mini bikes, transforming their handicraft firm into a more modern business, able to produce top quality goods. We do not merely produce high quality mini bikes; we tend to constantly “forge” ideas to further improve our goods.

Quality which means clients' satisfaction and a chance for the pilots to get excellent race performances. That's why nowadays the brand “Stamas Racing” is well known!

Joking, Daniele Dalla Costa says: “Although having worked hard for 10 years in this field, we still have a long way to go to get our motorbike driving licence, but the big brands and the clients well know who we are and how we work. It has been a tough fight so far, but always a fair one, aimed to the right goals. That's why slowly but steadily our brand has become more recognised all over the Country”.

 

 

Sport, indeed, or even better competition. This is the real engine of our firm, even from the time when the first mini bikes were not yet born.

Let's go back in time.

Mid Eighties: Stamas Racing (at the time simply called Stamas) manufactured a race bike 125 cc, equipped with a WMX Cagiva engine and baptised STAMAS 125 GP. This motorbike raced in the National uphill time trials, getting excellent results.

This was the spark inspiring both Dalla Costa brothers.

In 1996, thanks to the gained experienced and the competition passion, the two owners decided to work on mini bikes: in the same year they designed and produced the first road approved FMI mini bike. A genuine technological and performing masterpiece which, although ridden by young pilots, it has immediately become looked at by the big brands throughout Italy.

This was the official beginning of Stamas Racing history, which has been battling both on the road as well as on the market against the well known brands, facing each new battle with thrill and no fear. That's how, competition after competition, new mini bike models were designed, ranging from the more aggressive ready-to-fight ones to the easier for-everyone models; to be remembered: certain mini bikes are specifically designed for the youngest, starting from the age of 4!

Since the interesting development in the two wheels world, we have completely reorganised the Stamas Racing core. For instance, we have separated the professional racing from the amateur's mini bikes since, although having the same origin they have different aims and must be treated differently.

Indeed, amateurs' models different from the professional ones only in reduced engine power and eventually in their technical equipments (such as brakes, wheels, clutch, etc). Consequently and differently from the general market standards, although using these mini bikes just for fun, our clients always ride high standard goods.

Last but not least, this business policy further enhances our clients' safety.

The safety aspect must be always underlined, but especially considering these mini bikes are also ridden by unskilled children: the more balanced and the higher quality the mini bike is the easier and better the novice can learn.

In order to constantly check our high standard levels, Sdama Ring regularly controls each production phase: from the raw material choice, the chassis, the production, the assembly phases and the final test.

To guarantee the different teams and pilots a good service, we constantly improve our departments, already consisting of a modern dyno and all the necessary equipment.

Racing tracks are the best teachers, resulting in: a constant model evolution, which it has already guided us to an intuitive geometry able to improve the racing characteristics and our mechanical interventions during the race; a detailed care in the engine constant adjustments, also thank to world-wide GP technicians; a sporty look, personalised and winning, developed together with professional designers .

This last aspect is clearly obvious by simply having a look at our models: everything is integrated in a homogeneous style, which give a sporty yet beautiful look to our mini bikes. For instance, the 2000 models are clearly inspired by the GP look. This is a gift to an amazing reality and, maybe, also a desired look, since the mini bikes themselves have further improved the riding skills of big champions like Valentino Rossi and Marco Melandri.

TRICOLOUR AT STAMAS RACING

 

Talking of races, we must underline how rich our collection of medals is; nevertheless, in 2005 we further conquered the second prize in the Italian Championship Junior A.

Nowadays, Stamas Racing is directly talking part in the Regional Italian and European Mini Bikes Championship and the Manufacturers' Cup. We are proud of our pilots ( NOME PILOTI) and (NOMI TEAM) which use our goods in all the categories. Obviously, the gained results have further enhanced our enthusiasm for the current racing season. With plenty of thrill, energy to ride, to do and, obviously, to win “but let's keep in mind – Daniele Della Costa underlines- all this is very important to learn; felling fulfilled now would represent braking on a straight track!”.
